Call and apologize for the inconvenience and said the event was canceled and who they keep in mind for your next event. Also known to friends and family. Follow up with a letter saying the same thing.
I regret to inform you that due to unfortunate circumstances beyond my control the schedule of events for 11.11.07 by Jane and is canceled. Please accept the apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation has caused me. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Find the contracts, which determine how much you need to cancel in advance to get their money. it may be useful. Otherwise, this card is very good

For suppliers that use of this letter, after we heard:

Thank you for understanding the situation. We hasten to add (((((()))) their work and will certainly recommend your services when the opportunity arises.
